You know how I know you're gay? You weren't at Coldplay last night.

I'll admit that I've always thought Coldplay's music was a little "soft."
I was convinced that Chris Martin was going to release a solo album called " Loafer Lightener LTD." So believe me when I say I wasn't that pumped to go to the concert last night, but the tickets were free so what the hell, right? Plus I had just finished interviewing Gary from Snow Patrol who opened for Coldplay. He's funny as hell. You will be able to hear my Snow Patrol interview on Hotmess next week!
I digress.
Last night I went to see Coldplay and holy fucking shitballs they put on an amazing live show. Not even a show...it was an event. It was everything a concert should be- dynamic, entertaining, professional, fun, funny, loud and surprising.
The most surprising thing of all was the fact that they actually rocked! I know! What?!?!?!?!
Yeah, they re-worked some of their old tracks (like the kick ass techno version of the song Talk) and songs like Violet Hill, Yellow and Politik were loud and powerful as shit.

There's definitely a reason these guys are so popular.
Some of their songs still suck mashed potatoes and gravy through a straw though.....
