Frankenstein- GAY?!?!?

I haven't written on my other blog THE TALL AND HANDSOME CLUB for a while but I'm back with a whopper, so I'm posting it here on HOTMESS too!!

What better way to reintroduce the world to all things TALL AND HANDSOME than by blogging, in celebration of Halloween, about the tallest and most handsome monster of them all-Frankenstein. Oh, his handsomeness is debatable you say?!? I beg to differ. His was a uniqueness all his own. His green, leathery face, full of weathered lines and undeniable character are reminiscent of a latter-day Clint Eastwood-meets-Kermit the Frog-on-steroids.

We all know that the ladies love Clint and the pig-ladies sure seem to dig Kermit, so is it really a surprise that the chicks were all over Franky?!?! Just check the picture below! There he is with his Bride-the woman he eventually knocked up and check her out! She's an undead babe!

Ok, ok..I know what you're thinking....what of all those rumors about him being gay?!?!

Well friends I can neither confirm nor deny this lurid gossip. All I'll say is Elton John was also married to a woman for a time. Maybe this painting, allegedly commissioned by his secret lover, can set the record straight ( or gay).

AFI- Crash Love

So if you're a fan of AFI you probably know they have a new album coming out in late September called Crash Love. It's been three years since their emo-has-sex-with-goth mega hit album Decemberunderground was released ( what's the difference between emo and goth anyway?!?!?) so I'll bet you're so happy to have new music from them that your mascara is running.

LA Roux tonight on Hotmess!

So are all probably aware that we are big fans of La Roux on Hotmess. Tonight the greatness collides! Vintage will be catching up with our beloved former 'Ginger of the Week' who I was lucky enough to catch in concert a few nights ago.

They did not dissapoint, in fact I think they were one of those bands better live! Her voice is incredibly powerful which is good, because there were a lot of hipster lesbians with their coif in her signature massive side bang singing along at the top of their lungs.

Oh David, how I love thee

For the very few of you who might not know who David Suzuki is..... I implore you to visit the website for his inspiring David Suzuki Foundation I had the honour of playing music and helping out at the Fashion vs. Rock for David Suzuki Foundation Juno's wrap up party. I have been a fan and follower of his work since a child and was raised on his principles to achieve sustainability within a generation. Check out his bod!!! He's 73!!

Being on stage with one of my heroes was one of the proudest most happiest moments of my life and I can only hope to work more with him in the future.

There is an Earth Run coming up April 26th in Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto and I strongly urge all of you to join. Hotmess crew will be there running our lil tushies off! You can donate to our team at Hotmess Earth Run
